ONLINE COURSE “EU LAWS AND THE INTERNATIONAL TRADE AGREEMENT WITH VIETNAM” WITH UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH BOHEMIA

Following previous cooperation activities (2019), in May and June 2022, the European Cooperation Center and the Faculty of Business Administration have collaborated with the Faculty of Economics, University of South Bohemia.

The course took place on May 25, 27, June 29 and July 4, 2022, under the guidance of Dr. Phan Dao (Director of ECC) and Dr. Martina Krásnická (Lecturer of University of South Bohemia) with main content revolves around the European Trade Law and the impact of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) on both Vietnamese and Czech economies.

Through hypothetical situations, students got to take on the role of members of the European Parliament, which help them have better understanding on their role and the detailed working procedure for the ratification of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the European Union and Vietnam.

Dr. M. Krasnická and the leaders of the Faculty of Economics expressed their satisfaction with the students of the Faculty of Business Administration participated in the course and wished that, in the upcoming year, the Faculty of Economics, South Bohemia University could welcome the first group of students of TDTU for a short-term study at the University through the Erasmus Plus program and the bilateral cooperation program between the 2 Universities.
