The delegation of University of Ostrava visited and worked with TDTU for the first time

Accept the invitation of Prof. Le Vinh Danh, Rector of TDTU, the delegation of the University of Ostrava, Czech Republic visited and attended the TDTU's 20th Anniversary from 20/9/2017 to 24/9/2017.

The delegation consists of 3 members: Dr. Renata Tomasková - Vice Rector, Prof. Darja Jarosová - Vice Dean of Faculty of Medicine and Dr. Gabriela Zapletalova - Vice Dean of Faculty of Arts. On the morning of September 21, the delegation attended the opening ceremony of international conference ICFE 2017 and the opening ceremony of the Czech Education Fair.

On the same day, Dr. Phan Dao and the delegation visited and worked with Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine and Pharmacy. On the next working day, the delegation worked with the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics and the Faculty of Foreign Languages Ton Duc Thang University.

The delegation has a very interesting program. Particularly on September 23, they worked very urgently and effectively. In the morning of this day, the delegation attended the 20th anniversary of TDTU. Soon afterward, Dr. Phan Dao and Dr. Gabriela Zapletalová - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Arts, signed the agreement on the program of cooperation in English Language Bachelor programme and a Doctoral programme in part-time (sandwich) form. The delegation attended the Opening Ceremony of the 5th Course Sandwich Doctoral Program (2017-2021) with the presence of Mr. V. Grepl, Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Vietnam. After that, Dr. Renata Tomasková - Vice Rector, participated in the Roundtable conference of Foreign University Rector who attended the 20th anniversary of TDTU.

Before leaving, Dr. Renata Tomasková on behalf of the delegation thanked the Directors Board of TDTU and the ECC Center for attentive preparation of the program to work effectively for the delegation. He also expressed his hope that two universities would soon have successful cooperation programs such as TDTU cooperating with the Technical University of Ostrava and Tomas Bata University.
