On the morning of April 19, 2017, the European Cooperation Center and the Bata Center were honored to welcome Mr. David Jarkulish - Trade Counselor of the Czech Republic Embassy in Vietnam to work and visit in Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).
At the meeting, Dr. Phan Dao - Director of the two Centers and Mr. David Jarkulish had a discussion about cooperative issues between Vietnam and the Czech Republic, including trade and investment. Both sides agreed that the integration of Vietnamese enterprises with the Czech Republic’s enterprises would be the premise for the stable relationship between localities of two countries.
Mr. David Jarkulish and his partner visited some places in campus of Ton Duc Thang University, such as the dormitory, the stadium, etc. Mr. David Jarkulish was quite surprised by scale of the library and the international building which will put to use in the coming time. Besides, he was very impressed with the fresh air, clean campus and the politeness of students of TDTU. Mr. David Jarkulish also expressed his hope that the TDTU and the Czech Republic’s universities will have more cooperative programs in the future.
