University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague, TDTU’s strategic partner, has recently ranked among the TOP 400 best universities in the world 2020 according to QS

QS World University Rankings (an annual publication of university ranking by Quacquarelli Symonds) lately announced a list of 1,000 leading universities in the world in 2020.

University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague (UCT Prague), strategic partner of TDTU, is excellently ranked in the TOP 400, rising to the 355th place.

In order to reach this achievement, over the years UCT Prague has continuously improved the quality of training, in particular to not only enhance the role of lecturers in the teaching process and support students to participate in reasearch, but also improve lecturers/students (769 lecturers/4159 students), in which the amount of doctoral students > 15%. More and more students, doctoral students, researchers decide to pursue a career in science at UCT.

Prof. Le Vinh Danh – Rector of Ton Duc Thang University, has visited and worked at UCT Prague since 2011. Up to now, this cooperation has had good results as exchange students, lecturers, research collaboration, international conference (International Conference on Environmental Technology and Innovations ICETI2016, was held in TDTU and ICETI2018 held in UCT). ICETI2020 will be held at TDTU. Implemented since 2017/2018, the Doctorate degree of sandwich between TDTU and UCT Prague has attracted 10 Ph.D. students to study. UCT Prague annually gives 50% scholarship for 2-3 TDTU Ph.D. students. 
  
The current Doctorate degree of Sandwich program between TDTU and UCT:
1.    Biochemistry
2.    Microbiology
3.    Biotechnology
4.    Food Chemistry and Analysis
5.    Food Technology
6.    Environmental Chemistry and Technology

They are also creating favorable conditions for Ph.D. student to study and research on application topics in Vietnam with the guidance of leading professors' UCT, which has helped solved Vietnam’s problems in food, biotechnology, and microbiology.
