From June 10, 2017 to June 17, 2017, European Cooperation Center and Bata Center, Ton Duc Thang University welcomed and worked with Prof. Pavel Danihelka, Faculty of Safety Engineering, Technical University of Ostrava.
Main activities during this time of Prof. Pavel Danihelka was a lecturer for Ph.D students of doctorals Sandwich program. Most of the students were well prepared for the lessons and be appreciated on the spirit of learning and research. At the end of each lesson, most students successfully completed the specialized exams. Besides, the European Cooperation Center will cooperate with the Faculty of Safety Engineering, Technical University of Ostrava to give support Ph.D students in the trip to the Czech Republic for the 9th International Conference on the Prevention of Accidents at Work, http://www.wos2017.net.
In order to improve the quality of Ph.D students instruction activities, Prof. Pavel Danihelka also discussed with other assitantinstructors to improve the teaching methods suitable for the conditions and capacity of Ph.D students of the doctorals sandwich program.
Also in this visit, Prof. Pavel Danihelka had a discussion about cooperation issues in training and research with Board rector, deans of Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety.
In order to save profound impression for Prof. Pavel Danihelka in his first visit to Vietnam in general and Ton Duc Thang University in particular, the European Cooperation Center coordinated with the Bata Center to take Professor to visit the center of Ho Chi Minh city, Mekong Delta and enjoyed some typical dishes of Vietnamese cuisine. Prof. Pavel Danihelka expressed his love and affection for the country and people of Vietnam. The professor also appreciated the warm and thoughtful welcome from the Board rector, the ECC, the Bata Center and expressed his hope to return in Ton Duc Thang University in the shortest time.
