From June 3, 2017 to June 9, 2017, European Cooperation Center and INCRETI, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) welcomed and worked with Prof. Ivan Zelinka, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Technical University of Ostrava.
As the Vice President of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Advanced Engineering and Computation (JAEC), on the morning of June 5, Prof. Ivan Zelinka had dicussion with JAEC’s Editorial Board, leaders of DEMASTED, ECC, D.C-CS to prepare for the launch ceremony of the Journal.
On the morning of June 08, 2017, the JAEC was officially launched at Ton Duc Thang University, this is the second online English journal of the TDTU, published worldwide. Prof. Ivan Zelinka - Vice President of the Editorial Board, who played a key role in the success of the Journal, presented the JAEC’s mission statement, objectives and operation plan. The launch of JAEC is a milestone in the scientific and technological activities of TDTU, affirming the right direction and feasibility of the School on the itinerary to become a research university.
On the afternoon of June 08, 2017, Professor had a meeting with MERLIN research team, leader of Faculty of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Ton Duc Thang University. Both sides affirmed to deepen cooperation between Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Technical University of Ostrava and Faculty of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Ton Duc Thang University.
On June 09, 2017, Prof. Ivan Zelinka came back to the Czech Republic, ending his visit and working at TDTU. During his time here, the Professor always appreciated the warm and thoughtful welcome from the School Leaders, the INCRETI and the ECC. Prof. Ivan Zelinka also expressed his hope to return in Ton Duc Thang University in the shortest time.
