Prof. Bohumil Horak, Lecturer of Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic visited and worked at Ton Duc Thang University

On the basis of the sandwich program, European Cooperation Center invited Prof. Bohumil Horak, lecturer of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (FEI), Technical University of Ostrava, to visit and work with Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) from May 21st to May 28th, 2018.
The main contents of this mission were teach, guide the students in sandwich training program and attend the 2nd International Conference on Applied Science : ICAS – 2018 (http://www.tdtu.edu.vn/tin-tuc/2018-05/hoi-thao-quoc-te-ve-khoa-hoc-ung-dung-lan-thu-2)
European Cooperation Center combined with Prof. Bohumil Horak and Dr. Ngo Thi Thanh Van, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, TDTU organized the examination of English for students in sandwich training program. The performance was well done with a thoroughly prepared report by students. 
Prof. Bohumil Horak, also discussed with Dr. Dong Si Thien Chau, Dean of Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, TDTU about cooperation in the field of robotics research, renewable energy and student exchange programs to work at the professor's laboratory. Professor spent the academic discussion with professional adviser on training content and research orientation of doctoral students.
During the first visit and work of Prof. Bohumil Horak in Vietnam in general and Ton Duc Thang University in particular. The European Cooperation Center and the Faculty of Applied Sciences coordinated to have not only a trip around city center but also the tour to Mekong Delta and a number of Vietnamese cuisines for Prof.
On the morning of May 28th, 2018, Prof. Bohumil Horak ended his work at Ton Duc Thang University and came back the Czech Republic.
