On the afternoon of October 7, 2019, European Cooperate Center (ECC) held the opening and graduation ceremony of of doctoral sandwich program for the academic year 2019/2020 (bilateral training program for two-phase doctorate between TDTU and Czech Republic universities).
Attending the Opening and Graduation ceremony, on the side of the partner universities, there are: Prof. Petr Saha–Vice-Rector of Tomas Bata Univeristy; Prof. Ivan Zelinka–Lecturer of VSB Technicial University of Ostrava, Vice – Chairman of the Editorial Board of Journal of Advanced Engineering and Computation (JAEC); Prof. Jan Masak – Vice-Dean of Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology, Prof. Alena Cejkova – Lecturer of Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology, University of Technology Chemistry, Prague; Dỏ. Tomas Bata – Director of Chiromed, Czech Repulic. Ton Duc Thang uniersity has Dr.Tran Trong Dao – Vice President, Dr.Phan Dao – Director of European Cooperation Center, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Thi Minh Ly – Dean of Faculty of Business Administration, Dr. Pham Van Huy – Dean of Faculty of Information Technology, Dr. Do Tuong Ha – Dean of Faculty of Applied Sciences, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Phuong – Vice-Dean of Faculty of Foreign Languages, new Ph.D students, new Doctors from TDTU and their relatives.
In the academic year 2019/2020, the 2-phase PhD program receives 15 new PhDs from the universities: Tomas Bata University; VSB University Technology of Ostrava; University of Technology and Chemistry, Prague. On this occasion, the ceremony also honored 06 PhD students: Nguyen Nhat Tan, Phu Tran Tin, Tran Cong Thinh, Nguyen Thuy Lan Chi, Nguyen Hoang Sy and Huynh Tan Phuoc who completed the PhD training program.
Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Petr Saha, Vice-Rector of Tomas Bata University, believes in the success of the joint doctoral sandwich program between TDTU and Czech Reppublic Universities. The professor also encouraged the Vietnamese PhD students, reminded them to strive for a balance between work and study to achieve the best results and congratulate the new doctors on completing the program.
