After 4 years, the implementation of the doctoral study program in combined form (sandwich) has successful results. In the morning of December 8th, 2017, the doctoral state exam for the doctoral study was held in Ton Duc Thang University for the doctoral students to defense their Ph.D. thesis.
Attending this first exam, on the site of Ton Duc Thang University, there were Dr. Tran Trong Dao, Dr. Vo Hoang Duy, Vice Rectors and Dr. Phan Dao, Director of the European CooperationCenter (ECC); The ECC was assigned by Ton Duc Thang University to be in charge of the sandwich training program.
The examiners' council has 7 members, including 4 members from Czech universities and 3 members from Ton Duc Thang University. The opponents are professors and experts in the field of electronics and telecommunications from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Hanoi University of Technology.
Prof. Ivan Zelinka, Chairman and members of the council work objectively, appreciate the results of study and research of the Ph.D. students. Three candidates completed the doctoral state exam and successfully defended their Ph.D. thesis.
With the initial success of this first the doctoral state exam, it opened up a new potential for cooperation in training and research between the Czech universities and Vietnamese universities. Shortly after the session, the professors held in-depth discussions on cooperation, particularly in the field of international collaborative research and publication.
