Following the visit of the delegation of professors of the University of South Bohemia in November 2019 at TDTU; at the end of January 2020 Dr. Phan Dao, director of ECC & Bata Center and his assistant visited and worked with the President of the University of South Bohemia and the Faculty of Economics.
At the meeting, the President of the University of South Bohemia, prof. Tomas Machula expressed his desire that the two universities will soon implement joint student exchange programs, joint training programs, sandwich training programs, cooperation in research, joint projects. Dr. Phan Dao, has conveyed the best wishes from Professor Le Vinh Danh to prof. Machula. Immediately after the meeting, the two sides signed a memorandum of cooperation between the two universities. Dr. Phan Dao invited Professor Machula to visit TDTU. The President happily accepted the invitation and hoped that in 2020 he would visit TDTU and Vietnam.
It is known that in 2019, the University of South Bohemia was in the TOP 900 of the best universities in the world according to THE (Times Higher Education World University Rankings)
Also in 2019, the University ranked 901-1000 according to the Shanghai World University Ranking Organization (ARWU, Academic Ranking of World Universities), in which some of the University's fields ranked very high.

Dr. Phan Dao also visited and worked with prof. Dagmar Skodova Parmova, Dean of Faculty of Economics. The two sides exchanged a short-term credit exchange program for students of the Faculty of Business Administration, Finance & Banking, Accounting and Law Faculty of Ton Duc Thang University in subjects of Economic Law, European Law, International Accounting, Financial Analysis ... and ECC, TDTU will welcome students from the Faculty of Economics to study for a short term at TDTU. The program is expected to be implemented from the academic year 2020/2021.
During 2 working days at the University of South Bohemia, the delegation was Lawyer, Dr. Zdenek Strnad, Vice President of the South Czech Provincial Court, member of the Czech Government Legislative Committee and Lawyer Dr. Rudolf Hruby, guided to visit the sights of Ceske Budejovice City.
The visit opened an opportunity for strong and sustainable cooperation between the two universities and related agencies in many fields.
The two sides signed a memorandum of cooperation.
