In the afternoon of May 2nd, 2019, Dr. Phan Dao, Director of European Cooperation Center, Ton Duc Thang University (ECC) visited and worked with MA. Ladislav Vasevič, Rector of Matiční Gymnázium Ostrava (MGO), the leading high school in Ostrava City, TOP10 best high school in the Czech Republic.
MGO, founded in 1897, was the first high school in the city of Ostrava. Many students of the University have been and will be professors who work at the Technical University of Ostrava as well as the University of Ostrava, the two strategic partner universities of Ton Duc Thang University.
Dr. Phan Dao and MA. Ladislav Vasevič exchanged, agreed and signed an agreement between the two units, including exchanging of students, lecturers, cooperation in organizing research programs for high school students, organizing seminars and cultural programs. According to the plan between the two parties, in June 2019, ECC will send 10 students to visit and interact with the students of MGO. Then, MGO will send the delegation of 10 - 15 students to visit and study at TDTU on September 2019.
