In the afternoon of June 24, 2022, at Binh Dinh Province, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) and Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee have signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement for the period of 2022-2025. On TDTU side, there were Dr. Tran Trong Dao - Acting Principal and leaders of administrative units. On Binh Dinh side, there were Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh – Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of other provincial departments.
The comprehensive cooperation agreement was signed by both parties with the following contents:
- Cooperation in education, training and fostering of human resources.
- Cooperation on scientific research and technology transfer.
- Cooperation on investment promotion and business environment improvement.
- Cooperation in some socio-economic fields.
The signing of this agreement is to demonstrate the coherent in policy of TDTU and Binh Dinh province's government in continuing to create the most beneficial condition for both sides to implement specific cooperation programs in the province in accordance with the capability of the University and the socio-economic development situation of the Province.
Binh Dinh is one of the localities that have been attached to TDTU for many years. Both sides signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement for the first time in 2018. After more than 4 years of implementation, many cooperation programs between TDTU and Binh Dinh have obtained many crucial results.
Previously, on June 22 and 23, the ECC Director, Dr. Phan Dao visited and discussed with the units of the Province regarding some related issues within the framework of the agreement such as: Investment Promotion Center – Department of Planning & Investment; Trade Promotion Center - Department of Industry and Trade, and Tourism Promotion Center - Department of Tourism. The ECC Director and assistant Nguyen Duc Hy, in the afternoon of June 23, visited and worked with Quy Nhon University. Assoc. Prof Dr Do Ngoc My and Assoc Prof Dr. Nguyen Dinh Hien intimately welcomed the visitors. Dr. Phan Dao, Director of ECC is committed to awarding 2 scholarships for part-time doctoral training program (sandwich) to lecturers of the University. On the same day, Dr. Phan Dao and his assistant visited several locations to prepare necessary information to introduce to real estate investors in the Czech Republic, who will attend the Czech-Vietnam Business Forum in September 2022 with intention to invest in Binh Dinh Province.
