ECC WELCOMED MATICNI HIGH SCHOOL (CZECH REPUBLIC) PARTICIPATING IN SHORT-TERM EXCHANGE PROGRAM

Following the successful conclusion of the cooperation between the European Cooperation Center (ECC) and Maticni High School (MGO), Ostrava, on May 2, 2019, on exchange student, teacher and organize research programs for high school students, seminars and cultural programs. Now, ECC Center warmly students from MGO to visit and study short-term at TDTU from October 8 to October 18, 2019.
The program attracted the participation of 19 students from different MGO courses with the school's leadership and teachers: MSc. Ladislav Vasevi – Vector, Mr. Karel Mohelnik – Vice-Rector, and 2 teachers.
Coming to the program, the student had the opportunity to interact with Vietnamese culture in general and TDTU's culture in particular. Stretching throughout the program are basic Vietnamese classes from learning greetings, introducing yourself, in parallel, students could participate in sports clubs and extracurricular activities at TDTU. The delegation was organized by ECC to visit Minh Long ceramics factory, visit the Mekong Delta, Cu Chi Tunnels and some other landscapes, to learn about Vietnam's history and culture.
According to the plan, the delegation visited and participated in the cultural exchange program with a warm welcome from the Board of Directors and students of Nguyen Du High School on October 14, 2019. ECC and the two universities have signed a cooperation agreement in the field of education and training and student exchange. Accordingly, in 2020, Maticni High School will welcome leaders and students of Nguyen Du High School in the Czech Republic.
At the end of the visit, work and study of Maticni High School teachers and students, there are smiles, eyes, emails, tel. exchanged not only between the leaders of the cooperation units but also of students of two schools. Young people of the future, of Vietnamese-Czech cooperation, such as ECC Director and Principal MGO congratulated their reunion and expressed their trust to them, the young people of the future, the era of creativity and borderless cooperation.
