On the afternoon of April 22, 2024, the delegation of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Vietnam was led by Ms. Dana Brabcová, Head of Cultural Department of Embassy of the Czech Republic in Vietnam and Ms. Dr. Mária Gálová, Curator of the exhibition, visited and worked with the Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU). This is the first working visit of Ms. Dana Brabcová at TDTU and Ho Chi Minh City.
Welcoming and working with the delegation, with the presence of Dr. Phan Dao - Director of the European Cooperation Center, Bata Center, Dr. Dinh Hoang Bach - Director of the International Cooperation, Research and Training Institute, and leaders of several Faculties from TDTU
The delegation expressed surprise about TDTU's campus and about the achievements that TDTU has achieved over the past nearly 27 years, including significant contributions from cooperative study programs, Part-time doctoral study program (sandwich), researching, student and lecturer exchange between TDTU and Czech universities. Ms. D. Brabcová hopes that the parties will continue to improve the effectiveness of training and research cooperation programs, build, and expand cooperation in the fields of culture and education with many different activities such as art, music, movies, crystal exhibitions, Czech cars (Auto Škoda) ... especially the teaching of Czech language at TDTU, as an elective subject for TDTU students. Ms. D. Brabcová will discuss with Czech authorities to support the Czech language teaching project, as well as find funding for social research projects, and support TDTU students to study abroad in the Czech Republic. Dr. M. Gálová, exhibition curator, proposed that the university cooperate annually in the field of exhibitions of special Czech products (crystal, beer), music, movies, fashion, and art. It is expected that in September this year. Both sides will coordinate to organize a crystal exhibition at the TDTU.
The working session ended successfully. Both sides initially proposed a plan to expand and promote the cooperative relationship between Ton Duc Thang University and universities in the Czech Republic, contributing to the development of culture and education, as well as the relationship between Ton Duc Thang University and universities in the Czech Republic. TDTU will continue to make efforts to implement the proposed programs, build a rich and diverse learning and cultural exchange environment, expand relationships with international partners, and create learning opportunities. practice and research for undergraduate and graduate students.
