“BATA - ZLÍN - CZECHOSLOVAKIA, Masaryk’s Democracy - Bata’s Prosperity”

On the afternoon of April 13th, 2018, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ha Noi in collaboration with Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) opened the “BATA - ZLÍN - CZECHOSLOVAKIA, Masaryk’s Democracy - Bata’s Prosperity” exhibition at TDTU on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Czechoslovakia – Czech Republic (1918-2018). In the exhibition, there were Mr. Vladimir Bartl, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic; Mr. David Jarkulisch, Economic Counsellor, Embassy of the Czech Republic; Mr. Tran Hiep Thuong, Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of Vietnam in the Czech Republic, and lead Czech enterprises on the occasion of their official visit to Vietnam from 10th to 13th of April, 2018.
Taking place from 13th to 23rd of April, 2018 at TDTU, the exhibition presented the contributions and achievements of Sir Tomas Garrigue Masaryk, the first president of the Czech Republic and a great philosopher of Czechoslovakia; and Sir Tomas Bata who is known as “The King of Shoes" in the world as well as a leader, an entrepreneur and a business innovator of the country. The event will continue to create motivation and opportunities for research cooperation and technology transfer between TDTU’s institutes and centers with enterprises in the Czech Republic. It also creates an exchange between partners and Vietnam enterprises of TDTU with enterprises of the Czech Republic.
