To extend the relationship between Gia Lai and some provinces of Czech republic, accepting the invitation of the governor of Moravskoslezsko province, authorized by Prime Minister and supported by Vietnam Embassy in Czech Republic, the delegation of Gia Lai province with 16 members, leaded by Mr. Vo Ngoc Thanh - Chairman of provincial People's Committee, visited Moravskoslezsko province on March 24, 2017.
After visting University of Ostrava and joining in the business forum of Moravskoslezsko - Gia Lai provinces, the delegation had a fine visit together with the leaders of Moravskoslezsko province. At the meeting, Mr. Vo Ngoc Thanh, Chairman of provincial People's Committee, emphasized the desire to cooperate with Moravskoslezsko, he also expressed his hope that Czech businesses will come to Vietnam to cooperate in areas of mutual interest, particularly in the fields of economics and trade, education, health and culture. The Governor of Moravskoslezsko Province appreciated opportunities in Vietnam in general and Gia Lai in particular for Czech businesses. On the same day, representatives of the two provinces signed the protocol, identifying the good and lasting relationship between Gia Lai and Moravskoslezsko. The protocol’s content includes:
- The future development between Moravskoslezsko and Gia Lai will focus on the field of trade economics, education, sport and culture.
- The two sides will work together to extend cooperation and promote each potential for stable cooperation in the future.
- Both sides will cooperate on the principle of equality and mutual benefit, actively promote information exchange and cooperate in various fields to promote prosperity and mutual development.
- Relevant departments of both sides will maintain regular contact to facilitate discussions about issues during the cooperation process.
The visit of Gia Lai province's delegation in Moravskoslezsko province was very success; once again affirmed the longstanding friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and the Czech Republic. This is also the success of the European Cooperation Center and the Bata Center, as a link in the cooperation between Gia Lai and Moravskoslezsko, which TDTU's Rector has assigned to two centers.
