Study in Czech Republic

Czech Republic is not only popular for crystal and beer but also for music, science and technology. Before the World War II, Czech industry was on top. Today, as a member of European Union (EU), Czech is continuously improving its education, science and technology. Czech is now one of the best at manufacturing tool-machines, hydroelectric - thermoelectric  turbines, lhydroelectric engines, electronics for national defense, beer and crystal...

Czech Republic has been educating a great number of scientists, machenics, university lecturers... Many of those later took over important positions in the government: Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Mr. Pham Gia Khiem), member of the Politburo of the Party Central Committee (Ho Đuc Viet),  Deputy Minister of Ministry of Education and Training (Prof. Banh Tien Long), Rector of Bach Khoa Univesity  Ho Chi Minh (Prof. Phan Thi Tuoi),…

According to Mr. Ambassador Martin Klepetko, in 2013, Czech government decided to offer 5 scholarships, which are very good opportunities for TDTU students to apply for. Mr Ambassador also emphasized, “Along with cooperation in the fields of economics and trade, we also wish to enforce our partnership in education and sciences. Those are potential fields.”

European Cooperation Center (ECC) selected universities in Czech to carry out programs like Partly-covered Scholarship, full-covered scholarships for postgraduate and doctoral studies, transfer programs and “sandwich” program to earn foreign degree right in Vietnam. Those programs are the result of ECC members’ afford for years.

Why Czech? 5 reasons chosen by students and parents:

  •     Low living standard (300usd/month), international students can get all the benefits like local students including special offers when using public transportation, university dormitory, cafeteria, library…
  •     Czech Republic is a safe country with quite crowded Vietnamese community, who are at high position in the society, and and plenty of part-time jobs for students…
  •     High chance to get a job after graduating, plus, students can get resident card after 30 years working in Czech.

Other advanatges: students are divided into small groups which organize many activities for studenhts to take part in. Students are also be protected by Vietnamese Embassy and Vietnamese community in Czech. Moreover, Czech is a peaceful country with beautiful sceneries, nice weather, which will leave everyone having been there unforgettable memories.
